Scholars of Hope Foundation was founded in 2017 by university students at Copperbelt University in Kitwe, Zambia. It is a vibrant, youth-led, non-profit and non-governmental organization dedicated to advancing the social and economic well-being of young people across Zambia.
Our work centers on four key pillars: education, environmental sustainability, youth empowerment, and health promotion. We envision a Zambia where every young person is equipped to thrive, lead, and play a meaningful role in the development of their community.
Our mission is to empower Zambian youth by providing educational support, fostering leadership, and promoting health and well-being. Through our initiatives, we aim to equip the next generation with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to build a brighter, more sustainable future for themselves and their communities.
Our primary goal is to deliver timely support and meaningful assistance to marginalized individuals—especially children—within underserved communities, schools, and orphanages.
Scholars of Hope Foundation is unwavering in its commitment to nurturing and empowering the youth in Zambia. Our efforts, spanning child sponsorship, mentorship, youth well-being and health, and our various impactful projects, are driven by our core values and guided by a strong vision.
